My original concept for this is that the wise old tree can be used for watercolor painting. Brushes can rest in the notches on the rim and rinsed with water in the middle. Watercolor paints can be mixed in the white mushroom caps along the outside. But honestly if you don't paint I think you would be just as happy having it on display.
